A day at the races is a leisure activity, which is great fun for all the family, and at Les Landes racecourse you can be guaranteed of a fabulous day out to remember.
Set in the picturesque coastal area of Grosnez in the north west corner of the island you can enjoy the most beautiful uninterrupted views over the historic ruins of Grosnez Castle and the neighbouring islands of Guernsey, Sark and Herm.
The racecourse hosts nine race meetings during the summer. There is a modern viewing bank at Les Landes with on-course bookies and the club run Tote.
You will find a cocktail bar and champagne tent, various food outlets and plenty of room if you wish to bring a picnic.
In relation to member facilities, there is a members marquee which serves a sumptuous three course lunch and has a licensed bar, a members viewing area and allocated members only parking close to the amenities.
Admission to the public areas is £10.00 and car parking is free in the centre of the course. Children are admitted free.
Disabled facilities are available at the race club and include a priority-viewing stand very close to the finish line. For the children there is lots of play area and for 2010 many new attractions and activities are available.
Sunday and Bank Holiday Meetings
Gates open at 12 Noon and the first race is at 2.30, there are five races and the last one is 4.50. the race course closes at 6pm.
Friday Evening Meetings
Gates open at 5pm, and the first race is at 6.30, the last race is 8.30 and the race course closes at 9.30pm
